Welcome to Caring Strategies!

Caring Strategies is dedicated to creating learning opportunities that support all members of our community. Our mission is to develop strategies that foster educational programs and environments, encouraging children’s active engagement and learning at home, in schools, and throughout their communities.

Located in Destrehan, Louisiana, within St. Charles Parish, we are able to provide these opportunities thanks to the generosity of local businesses and community donors. We offer children ages 0-6, with and without disabilities, the chance to explore their world through hands-on activities, art, language, and physical exercise, all within secure and nurturing environments.

In addition, we provide online parent coaching, offering valuable strategies and support for parents navigating developmental milestones using evidence-based interventions. You can book a session to discuss milestone development, play ideas, toy recommendations, or any concerns you may have regarding your child's development.

Diane C. Robichaux, LOTR

The President/Director is a highly skilled and licensed Occupational Therapist with over 34 years of experience, specializing in Early Intervention. With a true passion for working with children, she is dedicated to making a positive impact in their lives. A devoted wife of nearly 33 years, she lives in Destrehan with her family. Proud mother of three wonderful children, a son-in-law, and a loving grandmother to a granddaughter and grandson, she is also excited to soon welcome a daughter-in-law into the family!

Lynn C. Robichaux, LCOTA

Our Treasurer brings 26 years of experience in the field of Occupational Therapy, with a specialization in Hand Therapy. His expertise and dedication to the field make him a valuable asset to our team. Happily married for 33 years, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, especially during trivia nights. His commitment to both his profession and family is truly inspiring, and we are fortunate to have him as part of our organization.

Brianne L. Robichaux, Student

Our Secretary is currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Therapy while attending Southeastern Louisiana University. She is an active member of Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority, where she holds leadership roles on the budget committee and serves as the campus events coordinator for the house. In addition to her academic pursuits, she is a dance instructor at Kelli's Kreative Dance and has been dedicated to serving the community with Caring Strategies since elementary school. Outside of her professional and academic life, she enjoys spending time with her high school sweetheart, friends, and family. She is especially close to her niece, Emi, whom she absolutely adores with all her heart.
